  • INSA (Indian National Science Academy) Teacher Award-2015 in the Anniversary General Meeting of the Academy held during December 28-30, 2015 at Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal.
  • Bharat Ratna Dr. C. Subramaniam Award for Outstanding Teachers-2013 of ICAR for excellent teaching in the field of Social Sciences during the 86th ICAR Foundation Day and Award Ceremony held at NASC Complex on July 29, 2014.
  • P.V. Sukhatme Gold Medal Award for the year 2012 for significant contribution in Agricultural Statistics from Indian Society of Agricultural Statistics during its 66th Annual Conference held at ICAR-IASRI from December 18-20, 2012 as International Conference on Statistics and Informatics in Agricultural Research.
  • Best Teacher Award 2002 of Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Deemed University for excellence in teaching in the discipline of Agricultural Statistics.
  • Indian Science Congress Association Best Poster Presentation Award on the paper Minimal Balanced Repeated Measurements Designs presented during the 89th session of the Indian Science Congress held at University of Lucknow, Lucknow in 2002.
  • Lal Bahadur Shastri Young Scientist Award of ICAR for the biennium 1999-2000 for the contributions in the discipline of Agricultural Statistics. The award carries a citation, cash prize and sanctioning of the research scheme entitled Statistical Study on Competition Effects among Neighbouring Units in Field Experiments funded by AP-Cess fund of ICAR.
  • ISAS Medal for Young Scientist for the year 1995 from Indian Society of Agricultural Statistics for the paper A-Efficient Block Designs with Unequal Block Sizes for Comparing Two Sets of Treatments during the 49th session of Indian Society of Agricultural Statistics held at Lucknow from February 22-23, 1996.
