ICAR – Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute is a premier research institution of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It is therefore required that the website content on the Website remains current and up-to-date at all times and therefore arises a need for the Content Review Policy. Since the scope of the content is huge, different Review Policies are defined for the diverse content elements.
The entire website content is reviewed on as and when required basis to ensure the accuracy of the content. While reviewing, it is also ensured that the content is free from offensive/discriminatory language and free from spelling and grammatical errors. For time sensitive content which expires after a certain date (e.g. tender, training, notifications, news, circular etc.), a policy on whether the content should be archived for future reference or removed altogether from the website should be decided by the concerned Section after careful consideration of nature of their content.
All the contents or records of ICAR-IASRI website have been preserved in CMS for audit purpose.
